This is a study on food insecurity at different geographical locations at different geographical locations in the middle hills of Nepal. The study identifies the determinants of vulnerability to food crisis and also describes the coping mechanisms adopted by vulnerable households to secure their livelihoods. The information about food security is analyzed at the household level, and the determinants of vulnerability. The study reveals that it is not mainly the access to resources but the household structure that is important in determining the vulnerability of households.
