Swami Ananda Arunis the co-ordinator of Osho Tapoban, an International Commune And Forest Retreat Center. Arun was born in Janakpur and since his childhood he had a deep longing for spirituality and religiousness. On this journey he met and had associations with many meditators and spiritual leaders but nobody could satisfy his spiritual thirst. On first glimpse of Osho on 29th march 1969 while in the university his whole being became evident that this was the soul he was searching for so long. On October 1969, he attended his first camp "Mein Mrityu Sikhata Hun" at Dwarika conducted by Osho.

As instructed by Osho, he returned to Nepal and in December 21, 1974 he started Asheesh Rajneesh Meditation Center at Tahachal, Kathmandu, the first Osho meditation center in Nepal. This was the beginning of Osho movement in Nepal. In 1974, Arun conducted his first meditation camp in India. On June 29, 1984 Osho declared him Acharya and Bodhisattva. In Nov, 1986 in Bombay, Osho declared him a Director of Meditation and Spiritual Growth of the Rajneesh Mystery School. On March 21, 1990, with the help of dedicated friends, Arun established Osho Tapoban on the Nagarjuna Hills. Since then Osho Tapoban has remained as the home for people on the path and has become popular worldwise as a growth center. Arun has conducted more than 300 meditation camps and initiated thousands of people worldwide. By profession he is a civil Engineer and heads a building consultancy firm in Kathmandu.
