Ice cracks, prayer flags dance, Sherpas sing and yaks scare cats... Meet Nuptse and Lhotse, two adventurous cats who find themselves on their way to the highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest! The Nepal Himalayas set the scene where lost marbles lead to a surprising map, where vanilla tuna ice cream covers mountain tops, and where bravery can be measured by a jellybean. Nuptse and Lhotse in Nepal is a story for dreamers of all ages whose hearts belong in far away places.
Jocey Asnong was raised by a pack of wild pencil crayons in a house made of paper and stories in a land made of maple trees. After many years of Illustration school, she moved to the mountains of Alberta, Canada so that she could wear mittens most of the year. When she is not shivering in a Mount Everest blizzard, she chases her cats around her home studio and works as a freelance artist. She has travelled 2 times, 4 months, and seven days in Nepal and can't wait to return.
